On October 9, 2025, a delegation from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Northeast Agricultural University visited SFS for a research exchange.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean Li Ying warmly welcomed the visiting delegation on behalf of SFS and provided a comprehensive overview of SFS's programs, talent cultivation, and academic development. Wu Qiufeng, Vice Dean of the visiting school, followed with a presentation on the disciplinary framework, faculty strength, and distinctive characteristics of their school. He noted that foreign language programs at Chinese universities face key challenges in developing distinctive and differentiated features, and outlined that the visit aimed to conduct research and exchange on these topics.

During the meeting, SFS representatives introduced the university's unique "School-College" Dual-Track Collaborative Education Model, explaining how the two systems work together in student management, academic guidance, and personal development. They also detailed the school's undergraduate programs, including English (subordinate fields including: English & German, English & French, English & Russian), and English in Language Data Science direction, covering talent cultivation objectives, curriculum design, resource allocation, and international exchange opportunities available for students.

Both sides exchanged views on talent cultivation, program development, faculty and student engagement, and agreed to strengthen cooperation to improve the quality of interdisciplinary foreign language professionals.
