A faculty team from SFS won first place at the Shaanxi Division of the 2025 "FLTRP·ETIC CUP" and "Understanding Contemporary China" National Foreign Language Contest (Faculty Track), held at XJTU on October 12.
Composed of four SFS faculty members, the team will represent Shaanxi Province in the national finals of the FLTRP "Teaching Star" Competition.

Organized by the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government and hosted by XJTU, the competition is part of the official FLTRP "Teaching Star" series. After multiple rounds of university and provincial selection, only 8 teams advanced to the final round out of 36 participating teams. SFS claimed the championship with an outstanding performance in lesson design and teaching demonstration, earning high praise from the judging panel.
Supported by XJTU's Teaching Affairs Department and the Faculty and Teaching Development Center, the competition serves as a high-level platform for professional exchange and teaching innovation among foreign language teachers. The team's outstanding performance reflects SFS's ongoing commitment to advancing teaching quality and fostering talents capable of sharing China's story effectively on the global stage.
