On June 6, 2025, a delegation from School of Education (SoE) at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) visited SFS at XJTU.
Key attendees included Huang Fang, Vice Dean of SoE; Li Ying, Vice Dean of SFS; and Qian Xi, Assistant to the Dean of SFS.

Huang Fang introduced SISU's SoE, noting its undergraduate programs in Educational Technology and English Education, as well as SoE's role in overseeing university-wide college English teaching. She expressed the hope to learn from SFS's experience in technology-empowered foreign language teaching reform, curriculum design, teacher development in the AI era, and collaborative teaching models integrating teachers, students, and technology.
Li Ying welcomed the delegation and outlined SFS's undergraduate teaching, highlighting progress in Language Data Science. She expressed the anticipation of strengthening exchanges with SoE to advance foreign language discipline development and college English teaching.
Qian Xi shared SFS's practices in smart curriculum development and the innovative "teacher-student-technology-environment" integrated teaching model.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on blended learning, digital MOOC resources, and technology-enhanced language assessment.
Both parties acknowledged that this visit was fruitful for improving future work in the two institutions.
