
On March 5, 2025, the signing of the cooperation agreement between SFS and the Shaanxi International Communication Center (SICC), as well as the unveiling ceremony of the Graduate Collaborative Education Base between XJTU and Shaanxi Media Convergence (SMC) took place at the SICC.
Cheng Jin, Member of the CPC XJTU Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department and the United Front Work Department of XJTU, attended the event.
Representatives from both organizations participated, including Wang Dong, Director of the SICC; Chen Xiangjing, Dean of SFS; and Zhang Chang'an, Secretary of the SFS Party Committee.
SICC representatives introduced their global communication network targeting Central Asia via platforms like Facebook and YouTube, highlighting programs such as the Silk Road Spring Festival Gala and Chinese Archaeology.
At the event, SFS and SICC signed a cooperation agreement, while XJTU and the SMC signed an Agreement on Postgraduate Collaborative Education Base Construction.
This SFS-SICC collaboration aims to jointly build a research-education base, provide high-quality services for local social and economic development, strengthen international communication of the local region through interdisciplinary integration and technological empowerment, improve international expression of Chinese discourse, innovate a narrative mode leveraging local cultural resources, and reinforce government-industry-university-research institution collaboration, supporting the global promotion of Shaanxi's stories and Chinese culture with intellectual and talent support.
