On the morning of March 7, 2025, a SFS delegation visited Xi'an Intel Wave International Culture Communication Co., Ltd. (Xi'an Intel Wave). The delegation included Peng Fengling, Director of the English Department; Wang Fei, Executive Deputy Director of the XJTU Center for Translation & Interpreting; Ji Le, Director of the MTI Education Center, and relevant faculty members.

Chen Xu, General Manager of Xi'an Intel Wave, along with project leaders Liu Yajing and Wang Kun, welcomed the delegation and joined discussions on deepening cooperation in internship base development, book translation and publication, AI model training and data labeling, and joint application for research projects.

Chen Xu highlighted the company's expertise in language services, data services, and publishing, and expressed hopes to expand cooperation with SFS.

Ji Le briefed on the MTI program and the industry-university-research institution cultivation model, emphasizing SFS's need for practice in talent training.

Peng Fengling noted SFS's focus on interdisciplinary talent development in this AI era, particularly through its Language Data Science direction.

Wang Fei proposed enhancing collaboration in book translation and publication and suggested in-depth exchanges on key issues such as translator screening standards and processes, translation team building, and translation quality control.

The visit laid a solid foundation for broader cooperation between SFS and Xi'an Intel Wave in cultivating more talents with outstanding language service proficiency, promoting the development of foreign language disciplines, and providing more support for serving society.
