On November 23, the national finals of the 2025 Foreign Language Curriculum Ideological & Political Teaching Case On-Site Exchange concluded in Chongqing. The teaching team from SFS led by Qian Xi, excelled and won the Grand Prize in the undergraduate group, while the team led by Zhu Liyun claimed the Second Prize. These achievements fully demonstrate XJTU's progress in foreign language curriculum ideological and political education and the professional competence of its teaching teams.

The competition enjoys extensive influence and professional recognition in the national university foreign language education sector. It aims to promote the high-quality development of foreign language curricula, build a solid education system and a high-caliber teaching team, and effectively serve the national strategic goal of "cultivating talent for the nation".

The on-site session featured a highly challenging format: teams drew teaching materials on site, designed ideological and political education cases within a time limit, delivered a 10-minute presentation, and then participated in a 5-minute Q&A with the judges. The XJTU teams accurately grasped the teaching objectives, deeply explored the ideological and political elements in the materials, and innovatively empowered their teaching designs with AI technology, achieving in-depth, multi-dimensional integration of foreign language education and ideological and political education. After an intense competition, the teams won high recognition from the judges and secured the national Grand Prize and Second Prize.
