Amid the challenging employment landscape for university graduates, SFS conducted enterprise visits on November 21, 2024, responding to the Ministry of Education's "Visit Enterprises to Expand Jobs" initiative. A delegation led by Xu Ming visited the headquarters of New Channel Xi'an School and the International Division of Shaanxi Normal University High School (SNUHS) to strengthen employer-student connections.
Morning Visit to New Channel Xi'an School
In the morning, the delegation toured New Channel’s Xi’an headquarters, where President Wang Zhimin showcased the institution's educational philosophy, corporate values, team culture, and development trends. Discussions focused on talent cultivation and internship opportunities. Xu Ming outlined SFS's student profiles and employment trends, while New Channel's HR Director, Zheng Nana, detailed internship programs and recruitment needs. Chen Mengru, Director of New Channel Xi'an School's XJTU Branch, introduced campus-specific benefits. Both parties reached preliminary cooperation intentions, pending the signing of an internship base agreement.
Afternoon Visit to SNUHS International Division
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the SNUHS International Division. Executive Principal Zhang Bei introduced SNUHS's global talent development goals, which align with SFS's focus on cultivating internationally competent graduates. Key discussions included student internships, practical training opportunities, and faculty development collaboration to establish a pipeline for future teachers. This partnership merges SFS's mission to develop globally minded professionals with SNUHS's vision of "China-rooted, globally oriented" education, aiming to explore innovative talent cultivation models through university-secondary school synergy.
