On July 4, 2024, a delegation led by Shi Ruiqiong, Deputy Director of the XJTU Publicity Department, visited SFS to inspect the school's progress in the "Culture+" platform development program initiated by XJTU. Zhang Chang'an, Secretary of the SFS Party Committee, Wang Fei, Executive Deputy Director of the XJTU Center for Translation & Interpreting, and relevant faculty members received the delegation in the Center for International Studies (CIS) at iHarbour and participated in the symposium after the visit.

Zhang Chang'an briefed on the SFS's teaching, scientific research, talent cultivation, and international communication. He systematically elaborated on the school's role in advancing XJTU's global engagement and serving regional development. Wang Fei presented updates on the progress, challenges, and future plans for the Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange and Communication Practice Base.
Shi Ruiqiong acknowledged SFS's contributions to XJTU in international publicity, and praised the "Culture+" platform development of the school as "profound, meaningful, and distinctive". She highlighted the necessity of high-quality cultural development for building a world-class university, and encouraged SFS to organize more activities, generate more outstanding results, and attract more talents in foreign languages, so as to contribute more to better narrating China's stories and assisting international publicity of Chinese culture.
