On the afternoon of April 8, 2024, the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress Appointment Ceremony for Science, Education, Culture, Health Consulting Experts and Symposium with Representatives of Relevant Organizations and Institutions was held in Xi'an.

On the ceremony, fifty-nine professionals were appointed as the science, education, culture, health consulting experts of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, including Professor Wang Hua from XJTU's School of Foreign Studies.

Wang Jianli, Chairman of the Science, Education, Culture, Health Committee of Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, presented appointment letters to representatives of the appointed experts and delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized that the experts should embrace their new mission, leverage their professional expertise, strengthen policy research and social investigations, and address practical issues in Shaanxi's science, education, culture, and health sectors so as to provide high-quality decision-making advisory services for legislative optimization and the enhancement of supervisory efficiency.
